EYFS Teaching Assistant - Chatham

Full-time - £90 per day - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment are sourcing for a EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Chatham. This a full-time role and will be to start as soon as possible on a temp-to-perm basis. This position will be working within the Early Years/Reception classes as a Teaching Assistant.

The school is a multi-form entry Primary in Chatham and is graded GOOD by Ofsted in all areas. The school was observed to have fantastic leadership and wider staff community who strive to ensure all pupils, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, achieve and succeed. Pupils have also been observed to respect and value staff in the school. This school is very accessible via public transport and driving.

The Role

  • Working as a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant. This will be supporting a child in KS2 with complex SEN
  • Assessing students' progress and discussing development with Teachers, Parents/Carers, and external agencies if necessary.
  • Undertaking CPD if the role requires it, in which you will be accredited for.

Requirements

  • Experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant would be highly desirable.
  • Holding a L2 or L3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working with children with SEN within an education, pastoral, or personal setting would be highly desirable
  • Either have, or be willing to get, an enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Must have right to work in the UK
