We are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school located in the Chatham area.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work with classes in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 ranging from years 1-6, supporting students who are eager to learn. Candidates who demonstrate a proactive and supportive approach will be desirable.

This Y2 Teaching Assistant role is a long-term placement with a real potential for it to become a permanent role by the end of the school year.

Requirements for this role are as follows:

• Experience working as a in a UK primary school
• Ability to showcase excellent behaviour management strategies
• Live within easy access of the Chatham area
• Be in possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to acquire this)
• Be able to assist the class teacher with classroom preparation
• Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
