This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about making a significant difference in the lives of students who have faced challenges in mainstream education settings.Day to day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to pupils with SEMH needs, ensuring that each student can make progress in their learning.
  • Create a supportive and structured classroom environment that caters to the individual needs of students with EHCPs.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other agencies to support the holistic development of each student.
  • Contribute to the development of our SEMH provision, particularly as we expand our pupil numbers and move towards a new purpose-built academy.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and utilise innovative teaching methods to enhance student outcomes.
