Sonic Summary

The position is for a 7.5t / HGV 2 Driver located in Snodland, with a pay rate of £17.81 per hour Umbrella or £14.50 per hour PAYE.
Candidates are required to have a 7.5t licence or above, along with a CPC and Digi card, and must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
The job involves driving a 7.5t vehicle, working with a driver's mate, delivering goods to customers' homes, and requires heavy lifting.
The shifts will typically start at 07:00 am and involve a rota of 5 days on and 3 days off, with only 2 full weekends required in an 8-week rotation.
Applicants must have no more than 6 penalty points and must pass a DBS and drug and alcohol test before starting.

7.5t / HGV 2 Driver

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Stevenage who are looking for 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 drivers to join them on a long term / temp to perm basis.

Shifts and pay rates as a 7.5t driver:

Days 07.00am start until finish.
Rota 5 days on 3 days off rolling. (requiring only 2 full weekends in an 8 week rotation)
£17.81 p/h Umbrella
14.50 p/h PAYE

Your responsibilities:

Duties include driving a 7.5t vehicle, working with an experienced driver's mate or driver.
2-man crew delivery of goods to customers' homes or flats.
Unloading goods and delivering to room of choice.
Completing paperwork.
Heavy lifting is involved.

About you:

Have a 7.5t licence or above, CPC and Digi card.
Have excellent customer service & communication skills.
Be able to work long days as required. We cannot specify what time you will finish.
You will need to have a DBS and drug and alcohol test before you start, we will arrange this.
No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications, no DR, DD, TT's or IN10's.
