Role: Site Manager on days
Â
Hours 7AM - 5 PM during the enabling works period, then 12 hours shifts during the shut down of the retail store, 7 AM - 7 PM for 8 days, before handover.

MUST HAVE - Black or White CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid & Asbestos Awareness
Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, including supervision of trades, subcontractors and liaising closely with the client / store manager.
- Coordinate all site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Liaise closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the project runs smoothly and any issues areÂ
- Prepare and update project schedules, and reports to ensure effective project delivery.
- Working with a counterpart on nights
- Seamless handovers to and from night shift
- Projects run for circa 3.5 weeks before next one starts
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience managing fast-track supermarket refits and fit-out projects would be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management, and health & safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Full driving license required, as travel across the Southern Home Counties is necessary.
