We are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a vibrant school in Medway. This full-time position is available from April to July 2025 and offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to contribute positively to the academic and social development of Year 4 pupils.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
- Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports all pupils.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and needs.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and welfare.
- Participate in school meetings and events, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching at the primary level, specifically Year 4 or similar age groups.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
