Primary School Teacher (Year 3)

We are seeking a resilient and passionate Primary School Teacher for a Year 3 class, available to start on the 21st of April and continue until the 23rd of June. This role is ideal for a solid teacher who has experience and skills in managing high Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, with a particular focus on supporting those with high SEMH.
  • Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages pupils to express themselves and promotes positive behaviour.
  • Assess and record pupils' progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to implement strategies that support pupils with SEMH challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children's progress and any concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a primary school setting, with specific skills in managing SEMH.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Resilient, passionate about education, and committed to professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
