Reception Teacher - Chatham

Full-time/part-time - MPS/UPS per day - January 2025 start

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a passionate and experienced Reception Teacher to take on responsibilities for a Reception class at an Ofsted Good school in Chatham. It is a full-time position but could offer part-time for the right candidate.

The school is accessible via public transport.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in Reception.
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum KS1 and time as a Reception Teacher would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
