Year 3 Teacher - Chatham

Full-Time or Part-Time- MPS/UPS - January 2025 start

Tradewind are recruiting for an experienced Year 3 Teacher for a Primary School in Chatham to start in January. This will be on a full-time basis but could be flexible for a 0.8 contract for the right candidate and will be on a temp-to-perm basis. Interviews will also commence ASAP.

The school is a large multi-form entry Primary in Chatham and is graded GOOD by Ofsted in all areas. The school was observed to have fantastic leadership and wider staff community who strive to ensure all pupils, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, achieve and succeed. Pupils have also been observed to respect and value staff in the school. This school is very accessible via public transport and driving.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in Year 3.
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum KS2 and time as a Year 3 Teacher would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UKMust have right to work in the UK
