A charity is seeking a Finance Assistant to support their Finance team. This role requires an individual who is proficient with numbers, familiar with accounting software, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently. Prior experience in finance roles is essential.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Cash and Bank Management:
- Input daily banking transactions into SAGE.
- Reconcile collection returns and manage related documentation.
- Purchase Ledger:
- Process invoices and expense claims.
- Handle supplier queries and manage payment schedules.
- Sales Ledger and Credit Control:
- Issue invoices and statements.
- Assist with inventory management.
- General Accounting:
- Manage petty cash and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in finance.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and SAGE.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
