Simply Education is working in partnership with a high-performing and forward-thinking secondary school in Kent to recruit a dedicated English Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to join a dynamic and supportive team. The position is full-time and permanent, starting in April 2025, with a competitive salary of 31,650 - 46,994 per annum.

The role:

We are looking for a motivated and engaging English Teacher who can bring literature and language to life. The successful candidate will be passionate about developing students' confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or an Early Career Teacher eager to begin their journey in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, inspiring, and thought-provoking English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
• Encourage students to develop a love for reading, writing, and analytical thinking.
• Provide tailored support and challenge to help all students achieve their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
• Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, clubs, or enrichment programmes.

Who we are looking for:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• A strong academic background in English Literature, Language, or a related discipline.
• A passion for innovative and engaging teaching methods.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
