Simply Education is working in partnership with a thriving and forward-thinking secondary school in Kent to recruit a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher. This is a full-time, permanent position, starting in April 2025, with a competitive salary of 31,650 - 45,994 per annum.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Maths teacher to join a dynamic department. Whether you are an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher, this role offers an exciting opportunity to engage, challenge, and inspire students of all abilities through creative and well-structured lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons across all key stages.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised teaching qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• A strong academic background in Mathematics or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for engaging students.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.
• The ability to motivate and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
