We are seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Medway area on a fixed-term contract until Easter. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual passionate about encouraging a healthy lifestyle and promoting sportsmanship among students.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students.
- Organise and coordinate sports events and competitions.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their physical education experience.
- Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other school programs.
- Encourage a positive and energetic environment that motivates students to participate.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in physical education.
- Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate secondary school students.
- Knowledge of a wide range of sports and physical activities.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of physical education practices.
