Working for the Engineering arm of a large construction business who specialise in the design, installation, and management of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services.  

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Services Manager ideally with an Electrical Bias to oversee the M&E services for a carpark building project. This is a 6-month contract role based in Luton, Bedfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient installation all building services, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire M&E services installation process to commissioning.
  • Coordination: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of building services.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with building regulations.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project costs and ensure the project stays within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing M&E services for large-scale construction projects.
