About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to work as a Pharmacy Manager, joining a highly reputable private hospital based in Chatham, Kent. The hospital has state of the art facilities and this is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to join their friendly and experienced Pharmacy team. The role is perfect for an experienced Pharmacy Manager looking for the challenge of delivering comprehensive pharmacy service within hospital settings. The hospital covers a wide range of specialities and procedures including orthopaedics, gynaecology, cardio and many more.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Pharmacy Manager and will be responsible for:

  • The provision of exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation and clinical requirements
  • Provide advice to consultants, other clinicians and patients
  • Ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines
  • Responsible to leading, motivation and managing pharmacy team
  • Advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and it's departments
  • Lead on quality improvement projects and audit within pharmacy

Who we're looking for
All applicants for the role of Pharmacy Manager must meet the following requirements;

  • Be GPHC registered - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 4 years experience working as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting in the UK
  • Managerial experience in a Pharmacy setting in the UK is essential
  • Analysing clinical and management problems and coming up with solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
