Academics are currently seeking a confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time basis. This is an exciting temporary opportunity with the potential to go permanent. The role will involve supporting children with various needs such as ASD, PMLD, MLD, Social, emotional and mental health needs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN particularly ASD, PMLD, MLD, Social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Experience working with students 1:1 and in small groups.
  • Ability to adapt and work alongside students to ensure productivity.
  • Have an empathic and caring approach.
  • Have a positive attitude and fantastic communication skills
  • Hold a valid Enhanced DBS or be willing to get one in place.
  • Valid Safeguarding training or willing to complete
