As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with a child with ASD, ADHD, Non-Verbal needs, or other high-needs conditions within a mainstream school environment. Your role will be to help them achieve their goals and create a nurturing, supportive environment that promotes independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:* Provide 1-1 support to children with SEN in their learning and development within a mainstream classroom.* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and supported.* Collaborate with teachers and professionals to create individualised learning plans.* Support a child with high needs and help them reach their academic and personal goals.

Key Requirements:* Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour and Non-Verbal needs.* A nurturing and patient approach to working with children.* Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and staff.* DBS check required (We can assist with this).
