About the Role: We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA). The successful candidate will work closely with students who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), supporting them across their academic, social, and personal development. You will play a key role in creating an inclusive, positive learning environment that encourages independence, confidence, and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with varying needs, ensuring a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities based on individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Foster strong relationships with students, promoting positive behavior, self-esteem, and well-being.
  • Facilitate students' engagement with school activities, encouraging participation and inclusion.
  • Support students in achieving their future ambitions by identifying appropriate pathways and milestones, in line with our philosophy that every child matters.

About You:

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a SEND or specialist setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual student needs.
