Recruiting on behalf of Bradfields Academy for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work with secondary aged students that have ASD and Complex Needs

5 days a week, term time only

This role would suit someone who is experienced either working with children or adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. To have a passion to make the students education and social development as positive as possible.

Special Needs Teaching Assistant we are looking for:

  • Someone with experience and knowledge of working with young adults or children with Complex Needs
  • Nurturing people who want to understand the needs of each learner
  • An understanding of traits and triggers around autism
  • Happy to undertake any personal care
  • To have strategies to communicate with non-verbal students
  • Able to make a positive environment to eliminate challenging behaviour
  • Positive de-escalation strategies
