My client is seeking an immediate Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with numbers, and has a strong understanding of financial processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client monies, credit control, and purchase ledger tasks, among other duties.
Day-to-day of the role:- Reconcile client monies and ensure accurate financial records.
- Manage credit control processes to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Handle purchase ledger duties, including processing invoices and payments.
- Prepare rental statements and transfer client monies as required.
- Process agent fees and handle related financial transactions.
- Liaise with Property Managers and the Accounts team to reconcile bank accounts.
- Process incoming and outgoing deposits, maintaining accurate records.
- Proven experience in an accounts assistant role or similar.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
