Vision are looking for a Teaching Assistant to be in the classroom supporting a student on a 1:1 basis at a lovely supportive school in the Chatteris area. 

About the role

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience supporting children within a classroom setting. This is a temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent.  You will be working 1:1 with a child in Year 1, assisting with the development and implementation of their education, and ensuring that they are understanding the curriculum. As with any 1:1 TA role, it will involve encouraging the child to interact with others and engage in the activities provided by the teacher.

This is a large school in the Chatteris area, with an established staff team and a fun but calm ethos. Together the school encourages their children to step out from their comfort zones to build self esteem and broaden their horizons. They are keen to challenge their staff with new training and progression opportunities.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will have: 

  • - An enhanced DBS clearance ( on update service) - We can run one for if you don't have one
  • - Level 3 in childcare or equivalent (preferable but not essential if experienced)
  • - Experience with working on a 1:1 basis

Salary

£85 to £100 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • - Previous experience within Primary Schools or similar setting
  • - Experience with 1:1
