A great new opportunity to join a growing business based close to Ely. You will support the senior buyer in the purchasing of goods and services for the organisation. The ideal candidate for this role will have 1-2 years experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
Duties to Include:
- Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
- Raising purchase orders
- Monitor delivery of goods and delivery schedules
- Liaising with suppliers and dealing with any purchase order discrepancies , price discrepancies and product issues
- Shipment tracking and customs clearance
- Working with transport providers and managing delivery schedules
- Prepare reports and data analysis for senior management
Experience/Skills Required:
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management
- Strong analytical skills and data analysis
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- Competent in Excel and MS Office
- Experience of working with ERP systems
Hours of Work
9.00 - 17.00 Monday - Friday
