An exclusive opportunity has become available for a Quality Technician to join an ever-growing and successful manufacturing company based in Chatteris. The position is working on a permanent basis, working Monday - Friday days, 40 hours a week with flexible start and finish times and is paying an annual salary of £30,000 alongside a benefits package including 33 days holiday, 75% discount and much more.

You will be working at their state-of-the-art head office and manufacturing facility in Cambridgeshire where you will be working as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team. This multi-million pound business was founded in 2018 and is now a market leader in its field creating nutritious products and taking the industry by storm.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Quality Technician:

  • Ensure that all products are produced to company specifications including PH, temperature and weight etc.
  • Complete QC checks such as CCPs and control points in accordance with product safety, quality and legality.
  • Advocate reporting issues when a product has a non-conformance and champion continuous improvement and GMP.
  • Fulfil a series of checks to ensure precise information is displayed on product packaging.

I would love to see CVs from individuals who have:

  • Previously worked as a Quality Technician, QA Technician, QC Coordinator, Quality Auditor or similar role.
  • A minimum of Level 2 Food Safety
  • Experience working within a Food, Drink or FMCG manufacturing company and are happy to work within a chilled environment.
  • Knowledge of food systems such as HACCP and BRCGS.
  • Internal auditor training as this would be beneficial but not essential.
