Position Overview:
They are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of electrical project management, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from conception to completion. The role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare project proposals, budgets, and schedules, and present them to clients for approval.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the project team and across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical project management within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Confidence managing project values from £1M-10M.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to project challenges.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Starting salary of £55,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience plus car.
