We're seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Business Partner ready to make a significant impact within the Not For Profit world, with a focus on Employee Relations, to join a forward thinking HR team. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to line managers, offering expert advice and support & fostering a positive organisational culture, helping to build strong relationships between employees and management.

Key responsibilities will include Employee Relations Management; Acting as the first point of contact for line managers on complex employee relations matters such as grievances, performance issues, disciplinary actions, and workplace conflicts and advise on appropriate actions and support managers in handling sensitive issues, including absence management, conflict resolution, and workplace accommodations. You will Partner with line managers to address day-to-day HR issues and provide coaching on effective people management together with developing and deliver training on HR policies, best practices, and employee relations topics. You will be expected to Keep up-to-date with changes in employment law and HR best practices, ensuring that the organisation remains compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements. You will also Partner with managers to address employee engagement and satisfaction issues, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Tracking and reporting on key employee relations metrics, such as disciplinary actions, grievances, and turnover rates will also be an important part of the role, to identify trends and recommend proactive measures.





Profile

The successful HR Business Partner should have proven experience (typically 3+ years) as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role with a strong focus on Employee Relations. You will have In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation. You will bring with you strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive and complex employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism, together with experience in delivering training and coaching to managers on HR-related matters. Strong organisational and time-management skills are imperative, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with HRIS and people management software. is highly desirable with a solid understanding of employee engagement and retention strategies.
