Contract: Maternity Cover (Until February 2025)

Rota - Part-time 4 days per week (Thursdays off)

Vision for Education is delighted to be working with a highly regarded secondary school near Stockport to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teacher of General Science and Physics for a maternity cover position.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across General Science, with a particular focus on GCSE Physics. You will teach and inspire a range of students, including high-ability learners, fostering a love for science and supporting academic success.

• The school boasts a fantastic staff community, creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
• Behaviour is generally good, allowing teachers to focus on effective teaching and learning.
• On-site parking facilities are available for staff.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) is essential.
• Proven experience in teaching GCSE Physics to a high standard.
