Psychology Graduate TA - Cheadle:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a recent psychology graduate to join a lovely SEN school in Cheadle, as a teaching assistant. This is a full time position to start ASAP, with likelihood of temp to perm.
The Role:
- Providing tailored support, working with children with SEN and complex needs
- Providing personal care
- Creating a safe environment that allows children to have fun, learn and succeed
- Providing academic support
Position Details:
- Location: Stockport (Cheadle Hulme)
- Position: SEN TA
- Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 105 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- A recent graduate looking for work experience within SEN
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN/ experience supporting those with complex needs in a care setting
- Strong teamwork ethic
- Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career within education and SEN
ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
