Job Description

Role: Legal Assistant Private Client

Main Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Private Client Department on a caseload of Probate files including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and general Probate matters
  • To eventually build up skills and knowledge to be able to run and manage a caseload of Probate files under the strict supervision of the Managing Partner
  • To ensure that all cases are dealt with in compliance with Solicitorsā€™ Accounts Rules and Law Society Practice Management Standards
  • To practice good file management and ensure that cases are handled in accordance with client service standards
  • Ensure all important dates are diarised
  • Keep up to date with all correspondence relating to files
  • Liaise with clients
  • Attend on Clients in meetings and take initial instructions
  • Undertake any administrative duties required
  • Comply with Law practices and procedures

Other Responsibilities:

  • To assist with efficient running of the office generally

Law Degree required
