NJR are currently working with a long-standing financial services organisation who due to their ongoing growth are now looking to appoint a 1st Charge Mortgage Advisor to join their specialist team. The Mortgage advisor will be responsible for delivering mortgage advice for clients who have applied online for a mortgage application. Service these clients from point sale through to completion with the support of in-house case management and protection teams.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high quality professional independent mortgage advice and explain different types of mortgages available.
  • Underwrite Mortgage applications for a large panel of lenders.
  • Manage pipelines and workflows in a fast-paced mortgage environment, ensuring all customers are kept fully up to date
  • Ensure all regulatory documentation completed within the required timescale
  • To maintain knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Keep up to date with new mortgage products and changes in lenders criteria.
  • Attend internal or external meetings as required.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre Mortgage professional who is motivated and enjoys the challenge of a diverse role whilst having an eye for detail. It is also essential that the successful candidate is a team player, has a flexible and thorough approach with the ability to prioritise their work. Experience of being in a Mortgage Advisory role is essential.

This role is working on a shift patterns between the hours of Monday to Thursday 9am -7.45pm and Friday 9am-3pm
