Location: Based in and around the West Midlands!
Salary: £32,500-£35,000 per annum, DOE

Service Engineer - The Role
Due to our recent expansion we are looking for a very enthusiastic individual to join us in an engineer's role who is based in Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire/Herefordshire/West Midlands/Warwickshire/Northamptonshire area to cover customers in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities;
Installation of CNC lasers, bending and punching machines, software and automation
Schedule service check overs and organize service consumables with Admin
Provide preventative breakdown maintenance to our contract customers
Troubleshoot over the telephone and on-site
Provide training for operators, maintenance and programmers
Assist Sales with technical support
Manage phone calls and correspondence
Responsible for the completion and submission of field service reports and expense reports
Work closely with our suppliers for the customers benefit
Ability to generate additional revenue for the company through a bonus scheme
Other responsibilities may be requested to assist within the team.
Travel on short notice may be required. Available to work weekends and after normal work hours occasionally.
Service Engineer - What we need from you
Qualifications
Time served in engineering with at least an electrical/electronic qualification but preferably multiskilled
3 years of work experience with CNC machines.
Skills & Experience;
Experience in CNC sheet metal machines preferred but not essential
Ability to interpret electrical schematics
High customer orientation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) & CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
Excellent electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills
Pneumatic and hydraulic experience advantageous
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Ability to work independently and make decisions
Work within a small team
