Job Title: Trainee Sprinkler Service Engineer
Location: Manchester (Field Based)

Job Purpose:

To assist in the servicing and maintenance of commercial and residential sprinkler systems while gaining hands-on experience and industry knowledge under the supervision of qualified engineers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in carrying out servicing as per the LPCB sprinkler rules and learn to identify any faults.

  • Support with small remedial works under supervision.

  • Shadow experienced engineers on emergency call-outs (both in and out of hours).

  • Work as part of a team and develop the ability to work independently as skills progress.

  • Maintain a professional attitude and deliver excellent customer service.

Job Context / Key Challenges:

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional out-of-hours support.

  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different working environments.

Role Dimensions:

  • Work closely with the Service Manager and experienced service engineers to develop skills and knowledge.
