Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Officer will include:

  • Support the planning and management of health and safety compliance across the organisation.
  • Offer guidance and assistance on health and safety matters to staff and leadership as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure appropriate records are kept in accordance with requirements.

The successful Health and Safety Officer will have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. i.e., report writing
  • Excellent organisational skills, with high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team, working effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload and work on own initiative.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent level of professional service.
