About the Role:We're seeking a skilled Complaints Handler to manage and resolve serious quality defect complaints in motor finance, with a focus on Leasing, PCP, and Hire Purchase finance products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough complaints investigations, challenging evidence to reach fair resolutions.
  • Handle customer and dealer communications with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assess complaint materiality and calculate appropriate redress using provided tools and policies.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of all complaint investigations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation and insights to support complaint resolution.

Requirements:

  • Ideally, prior experience with motor finance products (Leasing, PCP, Hire Purchase).
  • Strong background in complaints handling and investigations.
  • Excellent telephony skills to handle complex discussions with customers and dealers.
  • In-depth knowledge of CRA and DISP rules.
  • Ability to calculate redress based on complaint assessment (training provided).
