We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support our HR team on a fully remote or hybrid, part-time basis (16-18 hours per week). This role focuses on managing the relationship with our outsourced payroll providers, ensuring accurate payroll processing, and acting as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and the payroll provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the outsourced payroll providers for the UK (circa 170 employees, Netherlands (6 employees), France (1 employee) and US (2 employees)
  • Review payroll reports to ensure accuracy before processing.
  • Provide payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and bonuses, to the external payroll provider. (the initial collation of this data sits with our HR team)
  • Ensure payroll deadlines are met, and employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Assist with payroll-related queries from employees and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll-related matters are aligned with broader company processes.
  • Support audits, reporting, and payroll reconciliations as needed.
  • Manage Employee benefits/deductions and reconciliations including PMI and Pensions
  • Main contact for HMRC and relevant country tax office
  • Ownership of annual P11D process for UK and oversee year end related processes for Netherlands, France, and US
  • Ensuring compliance of our pension scheme

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a payroll administration or payroll coordination role, preferably within a company using an outsourced payroll provider.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll regulations (knowledge of international payroll is a plus).
  • Experience liaising with outsourced payroll providers and reviewing payroll reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with confidential data.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities.
