We have an exciting opportunity for you!Search Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join a leading private healthcare provider on a full-time basis.Job Purpose:1. To be responsible for the provision of psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions (group and individual).2. To attend weekly ward rounds, engaging with members of the MDT.3. To advise staff, facilitate reflective practice, and to work in collaboration and consultation with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.4. To provide supervision and teaching opportunities within areas of competence and to undertake relevant clinical research if required.Key Areas:1. To be responsible for own caseload of service users, ensuring required assessments (e.g., HCR-20), formulation, treatment needs, and interventions are provided using evidence-based models.2. To provide timely reports (HCR-20, CPA, MHRT) for service user reviews.3. To contribute to the development and delivery of in-service and other training programmes.4. To maintain any records necessary for the evaluation of service needs and efficiency.5. Provide management/clinical supervision and support to psychology assistants within the team if required.Wider Duties:1. Attend internal meetings and forums as appropriate.2. To take part in clinical audit and other clinical governance activities.3. Promote and encourage effective communication and teamwork at all times.4. Ensure that staff have the opportunity to voice any issues or concerns within the service and provide/monitor appropriate forums for this.5. Attend meetings representing the organisation's views.6. Provide written reports as required.Legal Responsibilities:1. Be fully conversant with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Care Act 2014) and current Care Quality Commission guidance, ensuring that standards are strictly adhered to at all times.2. Be conversant with the Mental Health Act 1983 as amended by the Mental Health Act 2007.3.
