Company Description:
A leading manufacturer of safety critical components is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Quality to join their team.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day Quality Assurance activities, identify & report key risks and manage mitigation activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of Quality Inspectors / Technicians
- Create and deliver a strategic plan for Quality Assurance
- Manage the internal Quality Management System to ensure both customer and legal requirements are always met
- Implement a Continuous Improvement / LEAN culture
- Implement root cause and corrective actions into the Quality function and provide training & coaching to ensure the process is always followed correctly.
- Supplier development and management
Skills and Experience:
- Experience of managing a team and associated development
- Comprehensive knowledge of AS9100 & Part21G
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action implementation
- Proven experience and knowledge of LEAN/Six-Sigma
- Able and prepared to travel nationally & internationally for customer and supplier visits
