Key Responsibilities:
* Set up payments and manage completion statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
internal procedures.
* Maintain and update bank details for fee earners, facilitating timely payment processing.
* Accurately record financial transactions in the accounting system, ensuring all entries
are complete and precise.
* Support legal cashiers in processing payments and reconciling accounts for seamless
financial operations.
* Assist the Head of Accounts with the preparation of financial reports, providing relevant
data and insights as needed.
* Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and enhance processes.
* Address inquiries from fee earners and clients regarding payment statuses and transaction
details.
* Undertake additional accounting-related tasks as required.
Experience Required:
* 1 year of experience in an accounts role, ideally within a legal environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial documentation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
