Job Overview
We are seeking a Finance Administrator/Junior Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate to join our Global Accounts Receivable Shared Services team. This role involves supporting the AR function with administrative tasks, assisting the AR Manager with data reporting and analysis, and helping with invoicing across global entities. You'll work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to cash flow and growth in a global business. This position offers a great opportunity to learn more about Accounts Receivable and progress to a full AR Associate role.
Responsibilities
- Accurately raise sales invoices in the system
- Follow up on overdue invoices
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer invoicing queries
- Investigate product shipping statuses to ensure timely invoicing
- Upload invoices to AR portals as required by different countries
- Generate accurate invoices using NetSuite (experience with NetSuite is a plus but not essential)
- Manage email inbox traffic and respond within SLAs
- Report on aged debtors
- Support the AR Manager with balance sheet reconciliations and general administrative tasks
- Ensure timely collection of cash for unpaid invoices
- Self-manage aged debt within the entities
- Post and allocate cash
- Assist with ad hoc duties and ensure month-end procedures are followed
Requirements
- Previous experience in invoicing/billing
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Experience working in an office environment
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Professional and confident demeanor with tact and diplomacy
- Previous experience with NetSuite is advantageous but not required
