My client are a specialist sub-contractor operating throughout the UK. They provide all types of joinery solutions across multiple sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure, healthcare, education, and retail.

They have worked with a number of leading clients and main contractors, gaining an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality services on large projects throughout the UK.

They are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Manager to join their business. You'll be responsible for leading and managing a commercial team ensuring the management of the financial aspects of projects, from initial review of the estimate and budgeting to procurement, contract administration, cost control, and final account settlement.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee all commercial aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget constraints and profitability targets.
  • Lead contract negotiations, reviewing terms and conditions to minimize risks and maximize returns.
  • Develop and implement robust commercial strategies to optimise project outcomes and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular cost analysis and financial assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage client relationships, addressing any commercial concerns or queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices, integrating relevant insights into commercial operations.
