Business Support Officer

One of IT Bods leading clients is a Financial Services company that specialises in advising clients aged 55+ in later life mortgages. Their growing business has opportunities for an enthusiastic and experienced Business Support Officer to join their supportive, friendly team. This is an office based role, Monday - Friday


The role
They need an experienced and professional Business Support Officer to support the management team at their head office near Stockport. This role is multifaceted and involves tasks related to office management, compliance, HR, and bookkeeping. The Business Support Officer must be comfortable at building strong working relationships within the support and management team.


Main Duties
Assisting with compliance (checking client records, coordinating with advisers)
Managing office tasks (handling post, calls, office supplies)
Supporting HR functions (recruitment, holiday planning, maintaining employment records)
Conducting bookkeeping activities (managing the accounts inbox, processing expenses)
Participating in various projects and operational development initiatives
Collaborating with other management team members to meet the needs of the team and the broader organisation


About you:
Highly organised and proactive, with great attention to detail
Comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to maintain an enthusiastic and consistently professional attitude

  • Proficient with Microsoft packages (notably Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Good academic performance up to at least A-level
