The Client

The Role

The Head of Finance will play a critical role in the business, working closely with an accomplished senior leadership team to drive financial strategy and ensure the company's continued success. As part of a carefully considered succession plan, this role offers significant scope for growth and influence, with the opportunity to shape the future of the organisation.

In addition to managing financial statements, reporting, and budgeting, the Head of Finance will provide analytical insights to support key business decisions. This is a strategic and hands-on role that will require the successful candidate to balance strategic planning with day-to-day financial management. You will also oversee compliance and reporting processes while contributing to the broader operational and strategic goals of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
  • Leading financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing the budgeting process and providing strategic financial insights.
  • Analysing financial performance to support decision-making across the business.
  • Working closely with the senior leadership team on succession planning and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting operational efficiency through financial analysis and reporting.
  • Leading and mentoring a small finance team.

What our client needs to see (required):

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership teams.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing space.

What we'd like to see (bonus):

  • Both SME and large corporate experience.
  • Audit trained
  • Luxury goods, furniture, or interior design industries is desirable.

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Greater Bristol Area (On-Site)
