Site Service Engineer

Location: Cheddar

Salary: £15.50 + per hour

The Role

To carry out site visits, site servicing, repairs and installation duties as required by the Site Service Supervisor and Site Service Manager.

  • Carry out site visits, site servicing, repairs and installation duties as required by the Site Service Supervisor.
  • Complete all documentation including risk assessments and hand in to the site service supervisor once job completed.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety procedures at all times.
  • Complete daily timesheets and ensure they are handed in as per procedure.
  • Be available for call out shifts (rota in place) and overtime as they provide 24/7 breakdown service to their customers.
  • Any other work within your capabilities, as required by the Site Service Supervisor or Manager.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a field-based engineering role.
  • Knowledge of electric motors, gearboxes, and pumps (essential).
  • Knowledge of generators (desirable).
  • Electrical knowledge of three phase systems and inverters.
  • Confined space training (advantageous).
  • Previous experience within similar industry (essential)
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering background.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer focused.
  • Driving licence essential as you will be provided with a company vehicle.
  • Due to the nature of the business, there is a requirement to attend call outs.
