Site Service Engineer
Location: Cheddar
Salary: £15.50 + per hour
The Role
To carry out site visits, site servicing, repairs and installation duties as required by the Site Service Supervisor and Site Service Manager.
- Carry out site visits, site servicing, repairs and installation duties as required by the Site Service Supervisor.
- Complete all documentation including risk assessments and hand in to the site service supervisor once job completed.
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures at all times.
- Complete daily timesheets and ensure they are handed in as per procedure.
- Be available for call out shifts (rota in place) and overtime as they provide 24/7 breakdown service to their customers.
- Any other work within your capabilities, as required by the Site Service Supervisor or Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience of working in a field-based engineering role.
- Knowledge of electric motors, gearboxes, and pumps (essential).
- Knowledge of generators (desirable).
- Electrical knowledge of three phase systems and inverters.
- Confined space training (advantageous).
- Previous experience within similar industry (essential)
- Mechanical and electrical engineering background.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Customer focused.
- Driving licence essential as you will be provided with a company vehicle.
- Due to the nature of the business, there is a requirement to attend call outs.
