Our client are recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an HR & Payroll Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience while studying towards a recognised qualification!

HR and Payroll Apprentice Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing payroll, including wages, overtime and deductions - attention to detail is key for ensuring accuracy in payments and when resolving discrepancies
• Supporting HR tasks including employee record management, onboarding new hires, Offboarding and processing employment paperwork - Personnel related queries may be in regards to benefits, policies and other matters
• Learn and adhere to employment laws and regulations related to HR and payroll
• Administrative duties may include the generation of reports related to payroll, attendance, and HR statistics
• Use HR management systems and payroll software to manage employee data

The ideal HR and Payroll Apprentice will:

• The candidate must be able to commute to both the companies Cheddar branch and Strode College in Street, Somerset
• Eagerness to learn
• Strong attention to detail, able to handle sensitive employee data with discretion

8:00am - 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break
