Accountant / Bookkeeper   
Chelmsford
£48,000 pro rata
Part-time Monday to Friday 10:00 – 14:30

We are looking for an experienced accountant and bookkeeper to work for a manufacturing company based in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a part-time position where you will be responsible for managing the financial records and supporting the finance team.

Daily duties will include:
 

• Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Reconcile bank statements ensuring financial data accuracy
• Support budgeting and financial reporting processes
• Work alongside the finance teams on audits and preparing financial statements

Experience required:
 

• Previous experience within Accounting and/or Bookkeeping  
• Skilled with Excel and other financial systems (Sage/SAP/Xero etc.)
• Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
