Credit Controller

Hybrid working - 3 days in office / 2 WFH
My client is a well establishing manufacturing business with a turnover of £50 million +, employing 300+ staff. You will be part of a credit team of 4, reporting to the Financial Controller. The company have an excellent reputation and look after their employee’s wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Managing a ledger of 200- 300 accounts, including a handful of key retail accounts
- Chasing outstanding invoices by telephone, email and letter
- Maintaining good relationships with customers, sales and administration department
- Dealing with an invoice queries
- Chasing for POD’s, raising credit notes, processing refunds
- Credit checking new accounts and monitoring of limits
- Credit insurance administration
- Cash allocation
- Making decision of releasing orders and adjusting credit limits where needed
- Weekly and monthly aged debt reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years credit control experience
- Capability of working managing a ledger from start to finished and the ability to manage your own workloads, prioritise and meet deadlines
- A positive approach
- Excellent communications skills - the ability to building good relationships internally and externally is key to this role. The company’s reputation and customer service is very important to them.
- Good Excel skills required
