Are you an experienced Qualified Accountant who has good knowledge of costings, analysis and process improvements? A leading company based in Chelmsford are looking for a Finance Business Partner to work alongside several department heads on various projects while operating across their global entities. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Analysis of production costs and compare them with the standard costs to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and assist in pricing decisions to ensure profitability.
- Oversee the inventory valuation process, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of inventory costs.
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and obsolescence.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to estimate future manufacturing costs.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Continuously improve costing systems and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
As a Financial Controller, what you will get in return:
- £55,000 - £60,000
- Hybrid Working (4 Days in the office)
