Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare monthly management accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and manage budgets, particularly for grants, to ensure proper allocation and utilisation of funds.
- Prepare annual statutory accounts in compliance with financial regulations.
- Oversee and manage the charity's overall budget, ensuring financial stability and accountability.
- Utilise strong Excel skills for detailed financial analysis and reporting, enhancing decision-making processes.
- Manage financial transactions and bookkeeping through Xero, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Proven experience in managing budgets and financial operations.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex financial analyses.
- Experienced in using Xero for accounting and financial management. (Desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar role within a charity or non-profit is highly advantageous. (Desirable)
- Formal qualifications in finance or accounting are not mandatory but beneficial.
