An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Subsidiary Accountant to join a leading global technology company. This role sits within the Group Reporting team and plays a critical part in delivering high-quality financial information, ensuring compliance, and managing intercompany reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly accounting for multiple holding companies, including journal processing, purchase orders, reconciliations, rolling forecasts, and budget preparation.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and internal reporting requirements, including liaison with auditors.
- Managing inter-company recharges and reconciliation processes.
- Supporting tax reporting, including preparation of reporting packs and VAT returns.
- Lease accounting and reporting under US GAAP.
- Ensuring adherence to financial controls and procedures, including SOX compliance.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with experience in financial accounting within a medium to large organization or practice.
- Strong team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
- Ability to analyze and improve existing processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
