An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Subsidiary Accountant to join a leading global technology company. This role sits within the Group Reporting team and plays a critical part in delivering high-quality financial information, ensuring compliance, and managing intercompany reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly accounting for multiple holding companies, including journal processing, purchase orders, reconciliations, rolling forecasts, and budget preparation.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and internal reporting requirements, including liaison with auditors.
  • Managing inter-company recharges and reconciliation processes.
  • Supporting tax reporting, including preparation of reporting packs and VAT returns.
  • Lease accounting and reporting under US GAAP.
  • Ensuring adherence to financial controls and procedures, including SOX compliance.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with experience in financial accounting within a medium to large organization or practice.
  • Strong team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Ability to analyze and improve existing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous.
