We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our clients team on an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts and be proficient in managing financial records and reports.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct supplier reconciliation using Excel.
- Post customer remittances into the finance system.
- Perform bank reconciliation and prepare debtor reports.
- Raise invoices, credit notes, and journals as required.
- Manage daily imports from the operational system into the financial system.
- Handle inbox management efficiently, ensuring all communications are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Meet month-end deadlines and assist in creating accruals for the management accountant.
- Send supplier remittances and maintain robust relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Build strong connections with our sites and address supplier/customer queries effectively.
- Proven experience within an accounts role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial systems.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
