We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our clients dynamic team at a pivotal time of growth. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual eager to advance their career in a thriving environment. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist the Accounts Manager with journals, reconciliations, and intercompany procedures.
  • Actively contribute to the daily postings on the Group's accounting systems.
  • Maintain accurate reporting systems and controls to facilitate informed decision-making up to the Board level.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and oversee accounts receivable, including chasing unpaid fees and updating debtor balances.
  • Handle financial paperwork and filing, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with the reporting of financial data to management.
  • Assist in the preparation of period-end finalisation and monthly management accounts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in corporate accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot tables/formulas).
  • Experience with Purchase, Sales ledger, and General Ledger.
  • Experience with accounting software platforms such as Access Accounting and Xero is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
